





Mid-17th century gold and diamond three stone ring with black and white scroll enamel decoration. Circa 1660
A rare survival retaining the majority of the enamel decoration, one of the three table-cut diamonds has been replaced by an old cushion-cut diamond, though this must have occurred many years ago as this is apparent in the illustrations in the books mentioned below, the first of which was published in 1993
